He was predeceased by: his parents, Sara Rice McAlister and Amos McAlister; and his brothers, McCalister and Clyde McAlister. He is survived by: his wife Grace Delphena Wilkerson McAlister; his children, Akwokwo (Shonta) and Akwete McAlister; and his siblings, James McAlister and Della M Walker.
