It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shirley B. Hawkins of Anderson, South Carolina, born in Gaffney, South Carolina, who passed away on June 12, 2021, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Shelton Alexander and Minnie Alewine Blanton. She is survived by: her children, Jeannie Thompson of Anderson, Joey Hawkins of Anderson and Jim Hawkins, Jr. of Anderson; her grandchildren, Jeremiah Thompson, Thomas Hawkins and Alise Hawkins; and her brother Joe Alexander Blanton (Dora).

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of the Upstate, 1835 Rogers Rd., Anderson, SC 29621.
