He was predeceased by: his parents, R. E. Robinson and Jetheree Walker Robinson; his son Clarence Henry Chester; and his siblings, Alberlena McGruder, Alvin and Harold Ray Robinson.
He is survived by: his wife Evangelist Verna Lee Robinson; his children, Linda Johnson (Kerwin) of Anderson, SC, Janice Blankenship (Jay) of Anderson, SC, Pastor Sharon Valentine (Melvin) of Anderson, SC, Shiywana "Wana" Lee of Anderson, SC, Louisa Lee of Greenville, SC, Dr. Leilani "LeeLee" Lee, Stanley Otis Martin of Greenville, SC and Moses V. Lee; his siblings, Thomas Robinson of Anderson, SC, Stanley Robinson (Deborah), Marvenia Liddell of Iva, SC, Annie Faye Williams (Joe) and Randolph Scotland (Doris); and his siblings-in-law, Orlando McGruder of Columbia, MD, Juanita of Iva, SC and Viola Robinson of Iva, SC. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren with one grandchild.
Mr. Robinson began his Christian foundation with Wilson Creek First Baptist Church of Iva and at an early age he joined Pleasant Grove Baptist Church where he served as an usher, was a former Sunday School teacher and Vacation Bible School Director.
