She was predeceased by: her parents, Clifton Clayton "C. C." and Lucille Graham Cox; her son Dwight Edwards; and her siblings, Raymond Dewey Cox, Gerald Steven Cox, Cecil Ray Cox and Betty Sue Brown.
She is survived by: her husband Carl T. Edwards; her daughter Gail Mercer (Joe); her daughter-in-law Vickie Edwards; her granddaughter Candice Edwards Bradshaw (Drew); her great grandchildren, Emerie of Anderson and Wells Bradshaw of Anderson; her siblings, Elizabeth Woolbright of Seneca, Marshall Earl Cox of Greenville, Lorene Gaines of Anderson, Willie Mae Stephens of Six Mile and Don Richard Cox of Westminster; and her caregivers, Missy, Sandy B., Sandy C., Susan, Barbara, Ginger and Angel.
