He was predeceased by: his parents, McConnell O'Dell and Betty Burton O'Dell. He is survived by: his wife Amanda L. O'Dell; his daughters, Vicki Lynn Labrot (Andrew) and Sandra Kaye Hayes; his grandchildren, Ashley Henry (Richard) and Caleb Bunch; his great grandchild Charlotte O'Dell Henry; and his brother B. V. O'Dell.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to North Anderson Baptist Church Building Fund, 2308 North Main Street, Anderson, SC 29621.
