She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel Jehue and Ressie Stewart Simpson; her husband Harold Brewer; her children, Timothy Brewer and Heather Ross (Kevin); and her siblings, Samuel Simpson, James Simpson, Donald Simpson, Margaret McMahan and Virginia "Pat" Pelfrey.
She is survived by: her daughter Gayle Staton (Ronald); her grandchildren, Justin Staton (Liana) and Holly Driver (John); her great grandchildren, Phillip Brewer (Cynthia), Isaac Driver, Adriana Staton, Luca Staton, Natalie Ross, Syrus Ross, Jade Ross and Ayla Ross; her sister Minnie Whitfield; and also, Keegan Brewer and Olympya Brewer.
