He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Richey Slaton and Doris Amanda Lowe; his daughter Madonna Slaton Sorrell; and his brother Mark Lowe. He is survived by: his children, Millicent Slaton, Landon Slaton and Russell Hanks; and his siblings, Linda Head, Herman Slaton (Lynn) and Richard Slaton (Vinda).
