He was predeceased by: his parents, Cyle Earle Davis and Vera Mae Davis; his son William Davis; and his siblings, Don Davis, Dendy Davis, Jerry Davis, Clyde Earle Jr. Davis, Jeanette Davis and Shirley Houston.

He is survived by: his wife Cynthia Carol Cassada Davis; his children, Bobby Dale Davis (Angela), Carol Ann Tindall and Cindy Jeffcoat (Jamie); his grandchildren, Spenser, Carter, Leigh, Tyler, Kara and Brice; and his great grandchildren, Elizabeth, Junior, Lincoln and Mandy.
