He is survived by: his wife Lucy Mae Partlow Burns; his daughter Lillie Mae Burns; his stepchildren, Brenda Burns, Joann Merritt, Raymond Burns and Lynda Skelton; and his nephew Rufus Burns, Jr.. He is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Viewing was held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Marcus D. Brown Funeral Home, Inc. (1212 S Main St, Anderson, SC 29624). A funeral service was held on Sunday, April 13th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
