He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar Lee Barnes and Ruby Gregory Barnes; his son-in-law John Collins; and his brothers, Johnny Barnes, Jerry Barnes, Billy Ray Barnes and Royce Barnes.
He is survived by: his wife Kathy Barnes; his children, Brad Barnes, Toby Barnes (Dawn) and Trixi Barnes; his grandchildren, Heather Barnes, Melissa White (Jon) of Devon Barnes, T. J and Coleman Barnes; his great grandchildren, Madison Cheek, Matthew Cheek, Hayden Rester and Anthony Salazar; and his siblings, Ronnie Barnes, Diane Peppers, Debbie Turner and Joyce Disedare.
