With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Richard Burriss Hanvey (Anderson, South Carolina), who passed away on July 9, 2019 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Hanvey and Elizabeth Hanvey; and his brother Marshall Hanvey. He is survived by: his wife Betty Hanvey; his children, Tammy Baker (Tony), Karen Goller (Steve), Kim Moorhead (Kyle) and Scott Hanvey (Tonya); and his siblings, Jeral Crowe, Patsy Adams, Albert Hanvey and Linda Smith. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; and 4 great-grandchildren.
