He is survived by: his uncle John Apinis of Fair Play; his nephew Will Newton; his nieces, Jessica Newton Hart of Charleston and Grayce Newton; his great-nephew Lennox; his great-nieces, Maisey and Juniper; and his cousins, Jan W. Healy of Anderson, Phil Westbrook of Anderson and Nancy Kuperman of Bronxville, NY.
