He was predeceased by: his parents, Archibald Jackson and Ruth Crawford Reid; and his sisters, Betty Reid Haynes and Virginia Dumont Reid. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Pritchard Reid; his siblings, Barbara B. Reid and Charles A. Reid; his children, Paul Randolph Reid (Allison) and Kimberly Reid Shaw (Anthony); and his grandchildren, Darren Shaw, William Shaw, Braden Shaw, Graham Reid, Ansleigh Reid, Campbell Reid, Jackson Shaw, Benjamin Shaw and Evan Shaw. He is also survived by many nieces and one nephew.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Boulevard Baptist Church Music Ministry.
