He is survived by: his spouse Shirley Smith Swygert of Virginia; his daughter Kimberly Smith (Tim) of Greenwood; his brother Jacob Calvin Swygert of Anderson; his grandchildren, Hobie Swygert of Greenwood, Levi Smith (Elizabeth) of Greenwood, Cody Swygert of Greenwood and Lori Smith of Greenwood; and his great grandchild Averlee Smith.
