She was predeceased by: her parents, Olin Dotson and Pearlene Jenkins Dotson; her son Tommy Dotson; her great grandchild Markel Holland; her siblings, James R. Dotson (Lottie) of Ware Shoals, SC., Wallace Dotson, Ollie Dotson, Doug Dotson, Leon Dotson, Dorothy Middleton, Annie L. Barmore and France Williams; and her stepmother Azalee Dotson.
She is survived by: her daughter-in-law Peggy Boseman Dotson; her grandchildren, Seketha Dotson, Antonio of Anderson and Maurice Dotson of Anderson; her great grandchildren, Keyanti Gambrell of Honea Path, SC, Naykia Oliver of Atlanta, Octavio Dotson of Bremerton, Malik and Mandriquis of Anderson, SC; her sister Mattie B. Dotson of Greenville, SC; and her sisters-in-law, Ellen Jean Dotson and Diane Dotson of Due West, SC. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Unity Mortuary of Anderson (401 S Fant St, Anderson, SC 29624). A funeral service was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
