He was predeceased by: his father Coy Owens; his daughter Maegan Owens; and his brother Philip Owens. He is survived by: his mother Mary Joel Gaines Owens; his son Mason Owens (Megan); his grandchildren, Maddison and Sullivan Owens; and his sisters, Susan Bayne (Robert Bowen) and Sandra Hewell (Skipper). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
