She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph Whitt and Mildred James Whitt. She is survived by: her sister Kimberly Whitt Ard (Lanny); her niece Whitney Bowers (Paul); her great-nieces and great-nephews, Paul Ransey Bowers and Palmer Louise Bowers; her niece Kristen Cooper (Allen); her great-nephew Hugh James Cooper; and her nephew Miles Emerson Ard.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, 209 Broad Street, Anderson, SC 29621.
