With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Nathaniel Leverette of Anderson, South Carolina, who passed away on February 2, 2023 at the age of 71. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Jessie "Tap" Boston and Jimmie Lou Leverette; his grandparents, Clinton and Loanie Leverette; and his sister Susan Boston Gray.

He is survived by: his wife Jennie V. Mattress Leverette; his children, Casaundra Letitia Cruell, Rico Leverette of Anderson, SC and Elder Shawn Vincent Mattress (Andrea) of Anderson, SC; his aunt Juanita Leverette of Anderson, SC; and his siblings, Jo Eva Smith of Anderson, SC, Wilhelmina Johnson of Anderson, SC, Vivian Breazeale (Doug) of Anderson, SC, Barry Johnson (Angela) of Anderson, SC and Ralph Johnson (Denise) of Columbia, SC.. He is also survived by his loving sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, other relatives and close friends.
