He was predeceased by: his parents, Reverend Murray Hunter, and Esther Hunter, Sr.; his wife Alice Squire Hunter; and his children, Shirley Hunter Barrett, Mary Vera Hunter and Dean Martin.
He is survived by: his children, Delores Hunter Williamson (Frank) of Savannah, GA, Daryl Hunter of Waldorf, Maryland, Jeremiah Hunter (Roberta) of Waldorf, Maryland, Nehemiah Hunter of Waldorf, Maryland and Glory Hunter of Waldorf, Maryland; his brother Paul Hunter of Brooklyn, N. Y.; and his caregiver Patrica Epps. He is also survived by six grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
