It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Mildred Haynie Davis of Anderson, South Carolina, born in Hartwell, Georgia, who passed away on October 27, 2023, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Ernest Davis; her parents, Buford Haynie and Ruth Jackson Haynie; and her siblings, Julia Hughes, Dara Shaw and Buford Haynie, Jr..

She is survived by: her children, Lisa Estes, Carol Kelley, Jan Carter and Duane Estes; her stepdaughters, Jan Whitlock and Kathy King; and her brother Max Haynie (Lisa). She is also survived by 17 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and nine great-great grandchildren.
