He is survived by: his wife Kathy Gentry Hamby; his children, Jessica Hamby (David Porter), Shawne Allen (Brett) and Jennifer Allen; and his siblings, Terry Neal Hamby, Helen Knight and Linda Dutton. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; and 4 great-grandchildren.
