He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Young, Sr. and Geneva Young; his brother Robert Young, Jr.; and his grandparents, Ozzie, Sallie Valentine and Mozelle Young.
He is survived by: his wife Essie Young; his children, Derrick Greene of Houston, TX, Michael L. Young of Greenwood, SC, Bailey M. A. Young of Milwaukee, WI, Stacy S. Paul of Anderson, SC and Kelvin G. Paul of Atlanta, GA; his niece Elaine Sanders; his uncle Reagan Fair (Gwen); and his siblings, JoAnn Wright (Ray), Walter Young, Stanley Young (Brenda) and Richard Young (Cathy).
