It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Lou MacKey of Anderson, South Carolina, who passed away on November 12, 2021, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Reverend Otis Junior Mackey; her parents, Josephine Paul Hunter Thompson and Jefferson Paul Sr.; her sons, Roger Jr. Mackey and Pat Charles "Snake" Mackey; and her siblings, Elizabeth Mackey, Doris "Bealy" Johnson, JoAnn Paul Clayton, Jefferson and John Marvin Paul.

She is survived by: her children, Minister Rebecca Mackey, Louise Mackey, Mary Simpson (Flip), James Mackey (Sonya), Tommy Mackey, Otis Mackey and Jeff Mackey (Melanie); and her siblings, Iva Lee Johnson and Bobby Paul (Joyce). She is also survived by grandchildren, great-grand children, nieces, nephews and other relatives.
