She was predeceased by: her parents, Lula Mae Cullins (William) and Henry Pratt; her husband Jim Preston Smith; and her sisters, Annie Mae Geer, Sallie Mae Douglas, Louise Cullins and Janie Beatrice Cullins.

She is survived by: her children, Darlene Williams (Ronald), Mary Ann Smith, Sarah Smith of Anderson, Wilbert and James Smith (Sheila) of Anderson; her siblings, Catherine Moss of Maryland, Daisy Lindsey (David) of Belton, Caroline Pruitt (Jewell) of Honea Path and William Cullins Jr. (Mamie) of Anderson; and her siblings-in-law, Eunice Sales of Anderson and Richard Douglas of Maryland. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; and a host of many relatives and friends.
