She is survived by: her children, Robin Herbert (Michelle), Richard L. Wheeler and Yusef A. Faust; her siblings, Jonathan Simmons, Larry E. Simmons and Lois Williford; and her grandchildren, Elijah, Christopher Herbert, Raven Coleman, Aza Coleman, Tanaysha, Faust, Tasha, Sara, Carla and Tiffany Peterson. She is also survived by eight great grandchildren; and a host of other family members and friends.
