She was predeceased by: her parents, Moses, Sr. Crosby and Rosa Bell Thompson Crosby; her husband James O. Heard; her children, Jerome Heard and Claudine Dean Heard; and her siblings, Nathan, Matthew, Milton, Timothy, John, Roman, Moses, Jr., Thomas Crosby and Ada Bell Crosby Wardlaw.
She is survived by: her children, Delphine Heard Thompson of Anderson, SC and James Lewis Heard (Sarina) of Williamston, SC; her grandchildren, Amia of Anderson, SC, M. J. Thompson of Anderson, SC, Sheena Heard Kidd (Corbert) of Hartwell, GA. and Jameika Connon of Greenville, SC; and her godson Charlie Patterson. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
