It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Jane Moon of Anderson, South Carolina, who passed away on November 30, 2024, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Mary Jane Moon to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her mother Mary Frances Moon; her children, Fred Richard "Rick" Chasteen and Tonya Tamara Chasteen; and her great grandchild Dakota Blume. She is survived by: her son Terry W.; her daughter-in-law Marie Chasteen; her daughter Tina Chasteen Phinney; and her siblings, Patsy Sweatt, Gale Waters and David Moon. She is also survived by five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, December 3rd 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Sullivan-King Mortuary Chapel (3205 N Hwy 81, Anderson, SC 29621). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, December 3rd 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
