She was predeceased by: her parents, John Henry and Janie Bigby Sharpe; and her sister Nancy Fleming. She is survived by: her husband James Fletcher Gilbert; her children, Brent Gilbert (Alicia) of Brevard, NC and Heather Lewis (Paul) of Anderson; and her grandchildren, Fletcher Gilbert, Rider Gilbert, Ruby Claire Gilbert, Paul Henry Lewis and Ellee Lewis.
