With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mary Frances Whitman of Anderson, South Carolina, born in Elberton, Georgia, who passed away on March 16, 2021 at the age of 88. She was predeceased by: her parents, Clifton Saxon and Alita Saxon; and her siblings, Junior Saxon, James Saxon, Daniel Saxon, Margaret Saxon and Buster Holcombe.

She is survived by: her children, Jerry, Harold Whitman, Mary Garren (Tony), Shelia Kelley (Randy) and Lesa Yates. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great grandchild.
