Long Cheeks; his children, LaKeita Geter, Shardae Brown-Shaw and Kamal Cheeks; and his sisters, Marsha Gail Cheeks, Congresswoman Carolyn Kilpatrick and Madelyn Hardgest. He is also survived by relatives and dear friends.
