She was predeceased by: her husband Ralph Valentine Vessell, Jr.; her father Floyd Dines; and her siblings, Dee Dines, Floyd Dines, Danny Dines and Jack Dines.

She is survived by: her son Ralph Thomas Valentine Vessell (Laura McIntyre) of Anderson; her sisters, Irene Campbell and Linda Nance; and her grandchildren, Kathlyn Abigail Vessell, Zackary Diamond Valentine, Sierra Renae Vessell and Chelsea Sue Davis.
