It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Luther Franklin Hicks of Anderson, South Carolina, who passed away on July 23, 2021, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Azalee Loftis Hicks; and his brother Wayne Hicks. He is survived by: his grandchildren, Franklin Hicks of Bethlehem, GA, Michael Hicks of Statham, GA, Katie Chambers of Winder, GA and Heather Bishop of Savannah, GA; and his sister Edna Fox of Kannapolis, NC.. He is also survived by five great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers: memorials may be made to the Cancer Association of Anderson, 215 E. Calhoun Rd., Anderson, SC 29621.
