It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lonnie Ray Maddox of Anderson, South Carolina, who passed away on June 28, 2022, at the age of 61, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Johnny Maddox and Lula Mae Gambrell Maddox; and his siblings, Pamela Maddox, Johnny Earl Maddox and James Leo Maddox.

He is survived by: his children, Angela Lewis, Raynesha Maddox, Lonnie N. Maddox, Jermaine Lewis and Jonathan Jones; his siblings, Barbara Thomason, Carolyn Heard, Paula Vance, Dr. Johnny Edward Maddox (Candace) and Jeffrey Rhodes; and his close friend Darlene Mattison. He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren; a niece.
