With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lois Hunter Moore (Anderson, South Carolina), born in Abbeville, South Carolina, who passed away on January 28, 2025 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband John Junior "Pig" Moore; her parents, Lucille Hunter and Matthew Sanders; and her siblings, Lillie Mae Hunter, Martha Hunter Simien, Annie Florence Calhoun, Elizabeth Sanders, William Hunter, James Hunter, Cecil Hunter and Michael Sanders.
She is survived by: her daughter Beverly Moore.
Viewing was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Marcus D. Brown Funeral Home, Inc. (1212 S Main St, Anderson, SC 29624). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, February 2nd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Mt. Carmel C. M. E. Church (609 Cleveland Ave, Anderson, SC 29624). A burial will be held on Sunday, February 2nd 2025 at the Westview Cemetery (430 Sayre St, Anderson, SC 29624).
