She was predeceased by: her parents, Jim Geer and Mamie Crosby Gaines; her siblings, Willie Gaines and Mary Ann Gaines; and her grandmother Hattie Crosby.
She is survived by: her husband Darryl Brown; her daughters, Nichole Gaines and Aaliyah Brown; her granddaughter Ayanna Geer; and her siblings, Mamie Daniel (Marty), Henry Gaines (Niecy), Grady Gaines (Kerry), Michael Gaines and James Gaines (Tonya). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
