She was predeceased by: her parents, James Richard Gilstrap and Edith Poole Gilstrap; her husband Frank Pruitt; and her sisters, Patricia Gilstrap Prince and Lisa Gilstrap.

She is survived by: her siblings, Jimmy Gilstrap, Ricky Gilstrap, Pete Gilstrap, Janet Johnson, Debbie Gilstrap, Loretta Montgomery and Jane Vaughn.
