She is survived by: her daughter Catherine "Cathy" Rainey (Lee); her grandson Jaylin Rainey; her siblings, Michelle Harkness and Dwayne A. Brown; and her friends, Priscilla Stewart, Hilda Patterson and Amasendra Thompson. She is also survived by five nieces and two nephews; a host of great-nieces and great-nephews.
