She was predeceased by: her parents, Homer R. Smith Sr. and Martha Mae Russell Smith; and her sisters, Martha L. Mitchell and Joan C. Bridges. She is survived by: her children, Adam Ray (Amanda) and Alisha Whitfield (Eric); and her siblings, H. Richard Smith Jr. (Martha), Deborah S. Fields and Brenda S. Kay (Bobby).
