He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Mae Hill Goosby; his children, Michael Goosby, Latonja Hill, Madeline Goosby and Lewis Goosby, Jr.; his sisters, Georgette Adams, Sadie Johnson, Patricia Dumus and Elizabeth Reynolds; and his mother-in-law Pauline Brown. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren.
