Lewis Davis Obituary

Lewis Davis, 84, of Anderson SC, passed away at his residence on Wednesday, October 13, 2021. Born on September 18, 1937 in Anderson, SC, he was the son of the late Hamer Fant and Violet Scoggins Davis. Lewis was a life-long mechanic and was an avid gardener. He is survived by his wife: Dianne Davis; children: Barbie Culbertson (Randy), Billy Davis, Stanley Davis and Trish Sosebee; sisters: Connie Blair and Jane Richey (Johnny); 7 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he is predeceased by four brothers and one sister. A funeral service will take place at Sosebee Mortuary South Chapel on Friday, October 15, 2021 at 11am officiated by Pastor Curtis Lanier. A private interment will follow. Visitation will be held prior to the service on Friday at the South Chapel from 10am to 11am.
