She was predeceased by: her husband Calvin Bruce Tyner; her parents, Adger M. Ellison and Leila Martin Ellison; and her siblings, Monroe, Carl, Earle Ellison, Ruby Settle, Ruth Elrod and Edna Keaton.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of the Upstate, 1835 Rogers Road, Anderson, SC 29621.
