It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lawrence Martin Elrod of Anderson, South Carolina, who passed away on August 24, 2023, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Betty Sue Watson Elrod; his parents, Lawrence M. Elrod and Clara Wells Elrod Mullikin; and his sister Joyce Elrod. He is survived by: his son Brant (Kate); and his grandchildren, Jennifer Elrod Knapp (Eric), Betsy Elrod Davis (Matthew), Allison Elrod Long (Jacob) and Rebecca Elrod Stowers (Devin). He is also survived by 6 great-grandchildren.
