It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kenneth Dawson of Anderson, South Carolina, who passed away on November 28, 2024, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Stella Green Dawson; his parents, T. C. Dawson and Mary Tucker Dawson; his daughter Cynthia Dawson Winton; and his siblings, Jacqueline Rozena Dawson, T. C. Dawson, Jr. and Leroy Dawson.
He is survived by: his children, Mary Dean of Anderson, SC, Sandra Martin of Anderson, SC, Adelaide Dawson of Anderson, SC, Tammy Gilbough of Anderson, SC, Sheba Hunter of New York, Bobby Dawson of Anderson, SC and Kenny Hunter of Anderson, SC; and his siblings, Mary Perkins (Henry) of Boston, MA and Benny Hue Dawson of Salem, NH. He is also survived by twenty-eight grandchildren and forty-eight great-grandchildren; and a host of relatives.
