She was predeceased by: her parents, Alice Mauldin and Dock Freeman. She is survived by: her husband Leroy Gay, Sr.; her children, Brenda Gay, Elizabeth Ann Gay Jones, Alwonder Walker, Leroy Gay, Jr. and Marcus Gay; and her siblings, Earlene Freeman, Katie Bennette and William Freeman. She is also survived by ten grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
