She was predeceased by: her parents, Jim K. Runkle, II and Mildred McKinnon Runkle. She is survived by: her daughters, Kimberly Whitehead (Rex) and Melissa Knott; her grandchildren, Seth Wright, Tyler Whitehead (Kimberly) and Kayla Machen (Tony); her great grandchildren, Skylar Machen and Grayson Whitehead; and her siblings, Cheryl Roberson and Jim K. Runkle, III. She is also survived by "Nanny" and loved her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Frisco Police Department, 7200 Stonebrook Parkway, Frisco, TX, 75034.
