She was predeceased by: her parents, Rev. George R. Herndon and Mary Lee Herndon; her former husband Rev. Joseph E. Tysinger, Jr.; and her brother George R. Herndon, Jr.. She is survived by: her aunt Nell; her children, Joseph E. Tysinger, III (Charlotte) of Lexington and Mary Nell Anthony (Rob) of Anderson; her grandchildren, Carter Tysinger, Austin Powell, Hannah Powell, Parker Tysinger, Ellie Anthony and Bella Anthony; her sisters, Jeanne Russell (John), June Knight (Don) and Janet Noterman (Brad); her brothers-in-law, Roger Tysinger (Sue) and Terry Tysinger (Joan); and also James Long.
