He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph M. Harris Sr and Mary McCall Harris; and his spouse Ann Elizabeth Harris. He is survived by: his children, Randall Morgan Harris, Becky Harris Burke (Jimmy) and Judy Harris Bullard; his siblings, Claude E. Harris and Dorothy H. Kilgore; his grandchild Ashley Burke Lewis (Brett); and his great grandchildren, Emma Wright and Curren Bullard.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Richard Campbell Veterans Nursing Home.
