She was predeceased by: her parents, Alton Griffith and Annie Lee Hansen England; and her sister Janice Moody. She is survived by: her husband Irvin L. Cauthen; her children, David Cauthen and Robyn Patrick; her grandchildren, Brian Cauthen (Kristin), Michelle Choromanski (Rob), Wendy Murray (Chris) and Lindsey Cauthen; and her great grandchildren, Charlotte, Audrey, Bennett, Nicholas, Davenport and Zayne Paul.
