He was predeceased by: his parents, Lonnie Guy and Grace Cribb Jennings; and his brother Wade Jennings. He is survived by: his wife Janis Jennings; his sons, James Melton Jennings of Plainville and John Ashley Jennings (Colleen) of Williamston; his siblings, Sylvia Jennings of Spartanburg, Charles Jennings (Susan) of Tennessee and David Jennings (Joyce) of Illinois; and his sister-in-law Jane Jennings of Michigan. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
