We are sad to announce that on April 23, 2023, at the age of 87, Johnny Mitchell of Anderson, South Carolina, born in Belton, South Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Josh Mitchell and Sis Johnson Mitchell; and his siblings, Reed, Henry Mitchell, Annie Wilson, Nellie Bailey and Mattie Gibbs.

He is survived by: his children, Cindy Riley (John), Denise Thrasher (David) and Chris Mitchell (Tracy); and his sister Helen Jones (Harold). He is also survived by nine grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
